Quoridor Classic is an educational strategy game renowned worldwide for turning very simple rules into deep tactical gameplay. The objective is clear: move your pawn from your starting side of the board to the opposite edge before the other players do.
The game is played on a wooden board divided into a grid of spaces, with dedicated gaps for placing walls. On each turn, a player chooses between moving their pawn one space or placing a wall on the board. As walls are added, they gradually form a maze that reshapes available paths and forces players to constantly adapt their plans.
A core rule defines the balance of the game: no player may ever be completely blocked. Regardless of how many walls are placed, there must always be at least one valid path to the goal. This rule makes Quoridor a game of positioning and timing rather than total obstruction.
With two players, Quoridor Classic becomes a focused duel of strategy, requiring foresight and precise wall placement. With three or four players, the game gains additional interaction, as paths intersect from multiple directions and one player’s move can influence the entire board.

Quoridor Classic and Quoridor Mini share identical rules and gameplay. The difference lies in the format. The Classic version features a larger and more stable board with bigger components, offering better visibility and a more comfortable planning experience. The Mini version is more compact and suitable for travel or limited spaces. For home play and longer strategic sessions, the Classic edition is the preferred choice.
