Quixo Classic is the original edition of this award-winning abstract educational game, known for turning simple rules into deep strategic gameplay. The game is designed for two players, but it can also be played by four players divided into teams.
The game is played with twenty-five wooden cubes arranged in a 5×5 grid. Each cube has an X or O symbol on one face, while all other faces are blank. At the beginning of the game, all cubes are placed with a blank face showing, creating a neutral starting position.
On a player’s turn, one cube is removed from the outer edge of the board. The remaining cubes in that row or column are then pushed all the way in the chosen direction. The removed cube is placed into the empty space, turned to display the current player’s symbol. As a result, every move shifts an entire row or column, constantly altering the board.
The objective is to be the first player to form a line of five matching symbols horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Because the board is always changing, players must think several moves ahead, as a single action may unintentionally help an opponent.
All components are made of high-quality wood, and the larger, stable board of the Classic version provides excellent visibility and a comfortable playing experience, especially during longer sessions.

Quixo Classic and Quixo Mini share identical rules and gameplay. The difference lies in the format. The Classic version features a larger and more stable board with bigger cubes, offering better visibility and easier planning. The Mini version is more compact and ideal for travel or limited spaces. For home play and extended strategic sessions, the Classic edition is the preferred choice.
