Enchanted Tower is a family-friendly educational board game of deduction and memory, designed for children aged 5 and up. In 2013, it received the prestigious Children’s Game of the Year award, highlighting its charm and quality for young players.
In the game, one player becomes the evil wizard, while all other players work together as Robin. The wizard secretly hides a metal key under one of the spaces on the board, and only he knows where it is. Robin’s goal is to find the key before the wizard and free the princess from the tower.
Robin starts with a small head start on the path, but the wizard knows exactly where the key is and moves straight toward it. Two dice are rolled to determine which character moves and how many spaces they advance. When Robin steps onto the space hiding the key, a clear “click” is heard and the race shifts toward the tower.
The tower is enchanted and features six different keyholes. The players must guess which lock is the correct one. If the key fits and opens the right lock, the princess pops out of the tower and runs to her rescuer. If not, the search continues in the next rounds, with players remembering which options have already been tried.
Enchanted Tower combines teamwork, tension and clever guessing into a lively children’s board game that strengthens focus, logic and memory in a playful way.
